Publication of Nicolas Fortané’s article “Veterinarian ‘Responsibility’: Conflicts of Definition & Appropriation surrounding the Public Problem of Antimicrobial Resistance in France” in Palgrave Communication, as part of the Antibiosis special issue. This paper examines the different stages of AMR controversies in France in the last decade and show how the veterinary profession has been able to gradually reframe them in a way that vets are deemed responsible for a rationale use of antibiotics (instead of being guilty for misuse or overuse).
