Publication of the article co-authored by Guillaume Lhermie and Didier Raboisson “Business models of the French veterinary offices in rural areas and regulation of veterinary drug delivery”, in Preventive Veterinary Medicine. The paper examines the issue of decoupling prescription and delivery of veterinary medicines, and studies with great details the economic structure of veterinary incomes. It also develops an economic modelisation of various regulatory scenarios regarding the decoupling issue.
